About me

Shalom and welcome,

I’m Isidore David, and I invite you to discover this extraordinary land where ancient stories live in every stone and modern energy pulses through every street.

A Bridge Between Worlds

Born in Egypt to a family woven from Greek, French, Lebanese and Jewish threads, I found my home in Israel. The decades since have shaped me as a husband, father, and grandfather, but more importantly, as someone who sees this land through multiple lenses.

As an Israeli Arab Jew fluent in Hebrew, Arabic, English, and French, I don’t just translate languages, I bridge worlds. This unique perspective allows me to open doors and reveal layers most visitors never experience.

From Commerce to Calling

My career in international business brought partners from across the globe to Israel. Each visit deepened my fascination with the stories embedded in this land. That pull eventually led me to become a licensed tour guide, transforming what began as professional hospitality into a genuine calling.

What We’ll Discover Together

We’ll explore renowned landmarks and uncover hidden corners off the standard routes. You’ll trace threads from biblical narratives to modern statehood, experiencing the rich mosaic of traditions; Ashkenazi, Sephardi, and Mizrahi Jewish heritage; Muslim, Christian, and Druze communities; and the many cultures that make this land extraordinary.

Whether you’re drawn to Jerusalem’s ancient pathways, the Galilee’s landscapes, the Dead Sea’s surreal waters, or paths less traveled, I’ll craft an experience that resonates with your interests and curiosities.

Beyond the Surface

I don’t just show you Israel, I share it with you. Every tour is designed with care and personal attention, leaving you with more than photographs. You’ll gain understanding, forge connections, and create memories that become woven into your own story.

Testimonials

I had the privilege of leading “Intrepid Travel” groups, and I am delighted to share the following reviews:

"I am very impressed with our leader Isidore. Hardly a question went unanswered, and he illuminated both sides equally.

He tried very hard to fulfill every wish and to accommodate everyone, which is certainly not easy. He referred to us as his family, where everyone should also be considered. He was always patient and gave us a wonderful description of the country and its people. I would certainly have benefited even more if English were my first language.

Since we were already on the road early in the morning and always reached our destination in the evening hours, I didn't have any free time. Isidore did not want to lose anyone, so everyone was involved in all activities together. I think that a little more freedom would be beneficial. Otherwise an excellent and very impressive trip, not least because of Isidore."

"I really appreciated Isidore: He shared such a wealth of information about Israel, it was totally unexpected.

He was always cheerful, positive, and honest. Even when he might not have known the answer to a question, he was honest about it but always came back with an answer.

He had a great sense of humor and was truly genuine.

I really appreciated how he dealt with some difficult people in the group with a lot of diplomacy and made sure not to impact negatively the trip for everyone else. As for the organization: As all traveling, time management is always hard to keep track of, especially when you are traveling in a group. In all, I believe Isidore did a good job with time management even though we had our downtime cut off quite frequently. But it was cut off for a good reason: Because we enjoyed our pace on the sites! It's always a give and take."
